First Post in a while.

So I have totally ignored my blog, keeping you all updated. My bad, I have had the craziest summer of my young life, so I have been forgetting my duties as a writer/blogger. It will get better as school
starts, I promise.

That being said, I have done a bit of writing on Freelance. I just need to sit down and do it, I have the idea and plot in my head, as well as most of the research done, but still have only finished the first couple of chapters. My goal for the next few weeks will be to get as far as possible. I will be sure to let you all know what I have as soon as I get there.

I have also come up with a new idea. I recently saw, for the first time, Memento. For anyone who likes Chris Nolan (The Dark Knight, Insomnia, Inception) Memento was his last movie he wrote entirely himself before Inception, and it is almost as good. It is about a guy with short term amnesia, but he is trying to solve the mystery of his wife's death. If you like "mind-fuck" movies, like Inception, you will love Memento.

I have since written a few pages inspired by the movie. It is about a man, who is on the run from someone, and he doesn't know why he is running or who he is running from. All he knows is that he needs to run. The twist comes pretty early on, though, as he soon finds out he is kind of like Jason Bourne from the Bourne Identity, he is expertly trained in combat, and is extremely dangerous. It is also set in a gritty futuristic setting, a little like Minority Report, or IRobot.

I will let you guys see what I have as soon as I finish it. I figure it could be an interesting side project. I'd love to hear what you all think!
