Hey everyone!
So this week is rediculous. I have a test on Thursday and a test on Friday, both of which are in classes in which I have done almost nothing for thus far into the semester, so needless to say I wont be doing much writing, unfortunately. There has been a little progress, however.
I have been working on flushing out my plot and detailing it up. I may have come up with a really good plot twist, but I have to figure out how it will fit in first. Getting there, though.
Also, partially because I have been trying to work this plot twist in, somewhat unsuccessfully, I have sacrificed my pride and gone out and bought a "novel writing for complete idiots" book. It has some really useful tips, especially considering I am still quite inexperienced at this.
Anyways, that's all for now, back to studying!

New Blog!
Hey everyone! I have decided to write a new novel (my working title is Freelance) , and keep an up to date blog so that you can read along with me while I write! every chapter I finish, I will post here so that you can catch a glimpse of what I have been writing as well as give me any critiques/ suggestions to make my novel better!
So right now I am still in the idea phases, but here is what I have so far.
My main character is Ian Rogers, a former CIA trainee that was essentially the head of his class. He was easily the most talented to be trained to be a CIA operative, and he knew it. It went to his head. Thinking that he was James Bond, he started to drink too many martinis, and started to enjoy the company of too many ladies. Eventually he started to get into illegal drugs, as well.
Naturally, you cant hide much from the CIA for too long, and his superiors found out. Seen as a liability, he is released from the CIA. Afraid that he would go elsewhere with his considerable talents, the CIA set up to have him killed. Ian found out and somehow escaped, faking his death in the process. Thinking he was dead, the CIA ended their pursuit.
Ian has spent the last few years living right under the nose of the CIA (simply because he knew he could get away with it) in Washington DC under an alias. Here he has made a living scamming people off on the internet for income, and spending his nights clubbing and romancing women. One night he is contacted by someone who knows his real name, his past, and wants to hire him to help them infiltrate a competing organization.
Hopefully I will be able to post the first draft of the first chapter soon. Check back soon for updates!
